I am delighted to introduce and warmly welcome you to the department of Civil Engineering, Our department was established in the academic year 2003-2004. Our mission is to develop center of excellence in civil engineering to carry out research in the areas of infrastructure and eco–friendly technologies. Our department have a HOD, 3 senior lecturers, 1 lecturer and 1 Technical Assistants. Dedicated and well experienced faculties to shape the students in all curricular activities. Faculties are encouraged to participate in technical workshops, seminars, faculty development programs etc.

The department is well equipped with Laboratories like Surveying practice lab, Material testing lab, Construction practice lab, Concrete technology lab, Hydraulics lab. The software packages available in the department includes Auto CAD, STAAD pro, CADs RC, MS Project. Based on board exam result our department won the best department award in our college in the academic year 2017-2018. Our faculty members have arranged implant training, industrial visit for our students to develop the field knowledge about civil engineering. Our faculty members encourage our students to participate in extra-curricular activities like symposium, paper presentation, blood donation, NSS activities, Social works and awareness programs. Regarding placement our students are placed in top companies in India like CCCL, IVRCL Infrastructure, L & T infrastructures, etc., After graduation most of the students are starting self construction company and become a good Entrepreneurs.
