I am delighted to introduce and warmly welcome you all to the department of Electronics and Communication engineering, our department was established in 1997. The department is responsible for teaching and undertaking research in the area of Embedded Systems, Communication, Computer Networks, Electricity and simulations. The department boasts the students by enthusiastic faculty and talented staff members who are experts in their area of interest.
Regarding placement overall 500+ students are placed in top notch companies in India Nippon Electricals, DS Connectors & Cables, Zoho, Nokia solutions and Networks ltd, IWAVE technologies, Sensedge transportation and signals etc., bear testimony to this amazing growth and achievement.
We have done our best in academics. Our staff members have secured 92 Centum from the year 2000 to till now.
Our department plays a main role in coordinating Alumni ISO Auditing for more than 10 years, Mrs.Malathi HOD is incharge of Alumni coordinator. Mr.A,Thirumurugan Sr.Lecturer is Symposium Coordinator from 2007 to till now. He coordinates the students and plays a major role in training them. Mr. V.Viknesh Sr.Lecturer./ ECE Placement Officer. We are very proud to tell that our ECE staff Mr.Viknesh has done a very good job as Placement Officer. More than 1000 students have been placed by his sincere effort in many reputed companies every year. Mr.S.Suresh Sr.Lecturer is a talented faculty and he acts both as Applied Lab In charge as well as the E.Governance coordinator. Mrs.C. Jeyanthi Sr. Lecturer is having the responsibility of Prayer cell In charge from 2016.
Our ECE students bagged best outgoing students title for 5 times.
