Our department introduces the first year students to various courses and prepare them for doing training it at a higher level. Every student gets an experience and practice in various areas through a series of foundation courses in one month at the starting of her /his study. At the end of the foundation courses every student should become well acquainted with various fundamental engineering areas by attending the foundation courses. Faculty Initiative skills refer to Faculty ability to assess recent / current trends in their area and take skill for the betterment of the students without direction from someone else. This type of skill will help our students to have keen experience in new technology and current trends in various engineering areas which will help them to perform better in their future workplace. Students are encouraged to take part in Mini and Main Project competitions from their first year. Every student is grouped under one project mentor. The project mentor gives real-time problems and the students are asked to address the problem through their project work. Our department will be a premier choice for the talented, prospective students, recognized by employers and our alumni as a source of outstanding diploma engineers, entrepreneurs and leaders, foster a culture dedicated to innovative learning and contributing to the growth of our society. The software packages available in the department includes Auto CAD, solid works, solid edge and creo. The upgraded facilities in the department includes CNC, Quality control, material testing.

Regarding placement students are placed in top notch companies in India like BMW, Apollo tyres, CATERPILLAR, Yamaha, Hyundai, TI Metals, ROOTS, L&T, Brakes India, Sundaram Clayton etc., bear testimony to this amazing growth and achievement.
